Karen C. Parker is the Director and International Trade Specialist with the Commercial Service, Austin U.S. Export Assistance Center.  The U.S. Commercial Service is the key export promotion agency of the federal government under the U.S. Department of Commerce.  The U.S. Commercial Service maintains a worldwide network of offices whose primary mission is assisting small and medium-sized U.S. businesses in selling their U.S. goods and services worldwide. Their office has programs dedicated to helping companies find sales distribution partners in foreign markets.  In her position, Karen has been counseling small and medium-sized companies in the Central Texas area to expand into new international markets for over 20 years.  Her office works with companies in all industry sectors with their exporting concerns.  Karen served as the Executive Secretary for the Texas Camino Real District Export Council, a global/ private membership of individuals appointed by the U.S. Secretary of Commerce that are involved and committed to promoting international trade.    She is a Certified Global Business Professional.
